Windom offers Advanced Learner Instruction with specialist classes in music, physical education & art. The school has a Licensed Library Media Specialist, as well as special education services, Licensed Intervention services, & Special Education services. Students at Windom can participate in Reading Corps, 5th Grade Band, Student Council, & Welcoming Wolves.

Consistent with federal & Minnesota law, special education instruction & related services are provided to all children with disabilities who need & meet the eligibility criteria for special education instruction & related services.
Windom supports students with disabilities in Settings 1, 2, & 3, with support from Special Education Resource Teachers. They have one additional classroom for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
