Lirio Montessori is a dual immersion (Spanish/English) Montessori Children’s House committed to partnering with families to provide children from all backgrounds access to high quality dual immersion Montessori in a way that fosters independence, love of self, & participation in the community. Lirio Montessori is part of the MN Wildflower Montessori School, a public K-8 charter school, & member of the Wildflower network of schools.
Their team is composed of women of color who share a passion for social justice, Spanish language, & supporting all children in feeling empowered to reach their full potential. They feel that the authentic Montessori environment that Lirio Montessori provides is the best way in which to live out their passion!

The goal of the Montessori environment for children ages 3-6 years old is for the children to learn how to adapt to their surroundings as future members & change agents of our society. The entire classroom environment is constructed just for the children’s use & maximizes independence, community, & exploration.There is nothing more beautiful & hope instilling than seeing children developing their confidence, self-esteem, & agency as they engage in the meaningful & self selected work in the Montessori environment.
