Folwell Community School offers a high-quality community school experience. Folwell Community School is located in South Minneapolis’ Standish neighborhood & serves families in the Ventura Village, Phillips, Corcoran & Standish communities. Students in Pre-K to grade 5 actively participate in relevant curriculum & instruction that is reflective of the diverse cultures in the school. Families can expect a caring community with compassionate staff. The school believes in the Beauty, Brilliance & Strength of students, & all students will demonstrate academic growth.

Folwell Community School’s literacy program is supported by the UFLI curriculum, & the school uses the Math Bridges curriculum for math instruction. They integrate arts with their general curriculum. Lastly, they use co-teaching with their multilingual students.
