About Us

Volunteers of America High School is a contract alternative school within the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) district. The school prizes its diverse student population—representing neighborhoods from across Minneapolis as well as neighboring suburbs. The school’s program allows for credit makeup & provides unique supports for students who are working, are pregnant or parenting, or are struggling with attendance. VOA High School offers flexible scheduling, individualized learning plans & wraparound support services to help students complete their high school education successfully.
