Serving grades K-2, Lake Harriet Lower Community is located in the heart of the Fulton & Linden Hills neighborhoods of Southwest Minneapolis. Lake Harriet Lower offers an intimate setting ideally suited for young learners in kindergarten through grade 2, with its grades 3-5 counterpart, Lake Harriet Upper Community, less than two miles away. The school’s strong academic program, coupled with fun & engaging extracurricular activities, make Lake Harriet Lower an ideal neighborhood school. Staff include each child’s unique learning style & identity through AmazeWorks curriculum & differentiated teaching methods. All students-regardless of their background, zip code & personal needs-will receive an anti-racist, holistic education that builds essential knowledge to prepare students for future success.
