FAIR produces after school theater productions & FAIR students have the opportunity to play on Camden High School’s athletic teams. The school also has student- & faculty-led clubs & activities based on student interest during the school day Activity Period (twice weekly) & in after school offerings through their “FAIR+” program.

The FAIR School is a comprehensive Minneapolis Public High School with the same graduation requirements & core course offerings as all of the other Minneapolis Public High Schools. In their electives, FAIR primarily focuses on arts offerings, with a full portfolio of coursework in 2-D, 3-D, & Media Arts, vocal & instrumental music, theater arts, & dance. Many of their students attend nearby colleges for PSEO coursework–either part time or full time–in their upperclassmen years.

Academic Programs Offered:

Arts Focused Programming, Career & Technical Education (CTE), College prep, Credit recovery, Multi-Grade Classrooms, Online Learning, PSEO, Personalized Learning, Professional Internships and/or Job Shadowing

FAIR is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of students including students with Individualized Education Plans through a variety of push-in & sheltered special education services managed by skilled Special Education case managers.

Student’s individual interests & talents are nurtured through diverse & culturally sustaining learning experiences both inside the walls of FAIR, & extending to the greater downtown arts campus. Fine arts & core content teachers get to know students as individuals to guide them on a path to success. FAIR wants to help students discover & refine their own artistry by connecting them with resident professional artists & partnerships in the downtown community. 
The FAIR School provides a safe, integrated, equitable learning community where rigorous study, combined with real world experiences & opportunities, allows every student to understand who they are. Students get to know their strengths, talents, & passions so they can engage & transform their world.
