Progeny Academy focuses on 3 specific areas to support student achievement:
Academic: Progeny tailors learning to individual needs with engaging & hands-on instruction, opportunities for additional support in small groups, & 1-on-1 settings.
Physical: Progeny provides a healthy breakfast & lunch daily, along with daily physical education activities
Social-Emotional: They offer daily instruction & activities that support the development of the whole student, help them with goal setting, & support them in becoming active & supportive community members.

Academic Programs Offered:

Multi-Grade Classrooms, PSEO, Personalized Learning, STEM/STEAM, Science and Technology Focus, Social Emotional Learning

Programación de educación especial

The focus of their K-8 special education is to ensure a Free & Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) for eligible students identified to have a disability & who are in need of individualized & specially designed instruction.
This instruction must provide progress towards goals & objectives through collaboration between parents, guardians, students, & professional staff who:
-Assist in identifying students with disabilities using the multidisciplinary team process implement due process standards in collaboration with the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team;
-Provide the appropriate specialized instruction to students through their IEP, base on the child’s disability-related need;
-Monitor the student’s progress based on the goals & objectives written in the IEP; &
-Actively participate in professional development to remain current with special education statutes, rules, regulations, & best practices in specialized instruction.
Special Education Services includes a team led by the Special Education Director. The team includes special education teachers, paraprofessionals, & specialists in the areas of school psychology, assessments, occupational therapy, speech, DAPE, & other areas to support students in a federal 1, 2, or 3 setting.

Programación de aprendizaje del idioma Inglés

The PACS EL Program teaches listening, speaking, reading, & writing through content. They use a combination of a pull-out & push-in model, focusing on the development of academic language & skills. Some language instruction occurs in the general education classroom. The total amount of EL instruction varies by student, based on individual needs. The program is overseen by the EL Teacher/Coordinator who also collaborates with the School Director on program development & implementation.
