Valores escolares

North Community High School is one of the longest-legacy high schools in Minneapolis. The reputation of Polar Nation is one of pride & strength. Any student, staff, or community member associated & affiliated with North High is a representative of North High. At North, students & staff embody excellence at all times. Their alumni model success & parents hold their students & the staff to the high standard the school maintains.

Discipline Policy

Students with strong attendance & engagement have histories of performing well in college & beyond. At North, outcomes of positivity will generate student leadership opportunities, scholarships, & more. Student outcomes of negativity, like instigating, rumor-spreading, name-calling, or fighting, things that tear the community down rather than build them up, will generate removals from the school community.

Bullying Prevention Policy

All members of North’s school community–students, staff, & parents–are expected to avoid disparaging others & will be committed to communicating in a way that is free, honest, direct, & respectful. Words & actions that counter this expectation & standard are addressed with outcomes that encourage the peace & prosperity of all other school members impacted.
