Camden offers rich & diverse extracurricular opportunities that support student creativity, leadership, & teamwork. From award-winning athletics & robotics to vibrant clubs like drama, drumline, step team, dance, rock band, choir, & art, students have many ways to explore their passions. Academic & leadership options include math team, debate, student council, & cultural groups, such as the Asian Culture Club, Black Student Union, & Latino Student Council. Programs like Girls in Action, Green Team, Beacons Boys & Girls Club, intramural sports, & e-gaming ensure every student can find a place to belong & thrive.

Camden High School is committed to equity, joy, & innovation in learning. They offer rigorous academic pathways, including the IB Middle Years, Diploma, & Career-Related Programmes. Students earn college credit through CIS, PSEO, & concurrent enrollment. Specialized programs include the Education Pathway, Hmong Bilingual Pathway, & career prep with internships. Camden High School’s curriculum features world languages, Ethnic Studies, & Fine Arts. They provide inclusive Special Education & English Learner (EL) services, & support student growth through athletics, after-school activities, & Herobotics team. Transportation is provided via the High School Go-To Pass.

Special education programming

Camden is committed to inclusive education, prioritizing a dedicated SPED Coordinator & a strong team of five resource teachers, two DCD, two ASD, one Life Skills, & two EBD teachers, supported by 19 assistants & a range of service providers. Their programs are fully integrated–students move throughout the building & participate in the broader school community. They emphasize collaboration, inclusion, & a growing unified program that fosters connection & belonging for all.

English language learner programming

Camden serves all students receiving English Learner (EL) services–from newcomers to the US & English language to those nearing proficiency. They create a rich, inclusive environment that honors each student’s background & history, while supporting their growth in English for academic, social, & real-world settings. Their goal is to empower every learner with confidence & fluency across all contexts.
