Valores escolares

MTS Secondary is a diverse community of learners working collaboratively to promote creativity, responsibility, & excellence. Each student is valued & empowered to reach their full potential in our diverse & global world.

Discipline Policy

At MTS Secondary & all MTCS schools, discipline is about creating safe, respectful, & supportive learning environments where every student can thrive. Schools work with students to encourage positive choices, teach responsibility, & resolve conflicts in fair & restorative ways. The focus is on helping students learn from mistakes, build strong relationships, & succeed both in & out of the classroom. All MTCS schools follow Minnesota laws & guidelines.

Bullying Prevention Policy

MTS Secondary is committed to creating a safe & welcoming environment for every student & they have a full school policy that addresses bullying. They believe that children learn best when they feel secure, respected, & valued. Bullying & intimidation disrupt this environment, interfering with both learning & teaching. While they cannot monitor every moment of a student’s day, they are dedicated to doing everything within their reach to prevent bullying, address it quickly when it occurs, & support students who are affected. Their staff work to build a culture of kindness, respect, & responsibility, & they take all reports of bullying seriously. Together with families, MTS aims to create a school community where safety, civility, & healthy relationships allow every child to thrive academically & socially.
