The curriculum includes core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, & Social Studies, along with a variety of electives in the arts, technology, & physical education. AFA emphasizes personalized learning, providing personalized instruction & support through small class sizes & trauma-informed teachers. Augsburg Fairview Academy is dedicated to supporting students through its comprehensive special education programming. The school offers individualized education plans (IEPs) designed to meet each student’s unique requirements, ensuring access to a high-quality education. AFA’s experienced special education staff provides specialized instruction, accommodations, & modifications within inclusive, co-taught classroom settings. Their policy also includes a support system for students to address issues affecting their behavior, involving counselors & support staff.
