Understanding CDD

The Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) is beginning to implement its comprehensive Comprehensive District Design (CDD) plan that informs the academic quality, equity & sustainability of education for students throughout the district. Changes include some schools becoming community schools or magnet schools, changes in grade configurations at some schools, and the redrawing of school boundaries which will result in some changes to attendance area options and eligibility for transportation.

In preparation for this, we made a few adjustments to district school profiles, including reporting the projected enrollment & demographics of the school in the 2021-22 school year.
